The Most Prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Is All Set To Make Its Debut In South

After five successful marquee events in Mumbai & Delhi, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) is all set to launch its first-ever Most Prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards South to honour and appreciate the creativity & talent of South Film Industry on September 20, 2019, in Hyderabad, Telangana. The ceremony has recognized and feted many Indian actors and films for their achievements in the past. DPIFF AWARD is a unique initiative intended to honour the entertainment industry and to appreciate the creativity, in the presence of Celebrities, Dignitaries, Industrialists, Delegates and Media Personnel. After witnessing the contribution of South Indian Film Industry into the Indian Cinema, team DPIFF makes sure to set a platform in South where the talent & creativity can be honoured. The DPIFF platform will set a realistic benchmark to motivate, inspire & nurture the talent of South Indian Cinema on National Level.

 

Abhishek Mishra CEO of DPIFF Says – ‘The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival is to honour the lifetime effort of the father of Indian cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke Ji. The Award Function will celebrate the brilliance of the Indian Cinema, which is making an effort to acknowledge as well as aid nascent projects by bringing them to mainstream audiences’. The main aim & motive of DPIFF is ‘Appreciation to the Creation’. The event at N-Convention, Madhapur, in Hyderabad will honour some of Tollywood, Kollywood, Sandalwood and Mollywood’s biggest names. The chief guest for the first-ever Most Prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award South will be Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Shri Chandrasekhar Pusalkar Ji Grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke Ji will grace the event and do the lamp-lighting. Besides, Cinematographer Minister Shri Talasani Srinivas Yadav will also grace the event and give his blessings.

A report said Mohan Babu, Samantha Akkineni, Jagapathi Babu, Rakul Preet Singh, Devi Sri Prasad, Anushka Shetty, Nandita Swetha, Payal Rajput, Charmy Kaur, Puri Jagannadh, Lakshmi Manchu, Mahesh Babu, Yash, Keerthy Suresh, Nag Ashwin are among the A-list of celebrities who will grace the awards gala.  Political leaders, Industrialists, some well-known artists and Telugu cinema’s biggest names will also grace the event with their presence. It is a great event when everyone’s favourite actors and chief guests come together and honour the awards that have deserving the young talent from South India.
